Wzorowo: name derived from words ‘wzór’ (pattern), ‘wzornictwo’ (design), and ‘wzorzec’ (model)…
To a large extent the word ‘Wzorowo’ refers to PRP (People’s Republic of Poland) motif of a badge awarded to exceptional student for his correctness (in the meaning of obedience to socialistic regime) and above-averageness. Distinguishing with badges was typical phenomenon in Poland; the phenomenon that determinates the roots and identity of the group.
Our activity covers either design or art.
Exactness in execution and accordance with ecological principles are the characteristics of our designs. In execution of our designs, we base in durable regional materials and cooperate with native artisans. On one hand we cultivate the traditions of glassworking and ceramics, and emphasize the modern character of our designs, on the other.
