Sculpture perversely suggests the functionality, acting of the beholder’s senses, and interfering with its association. Meanwhile, the shape is a metaphor for the physical properties of glass – an endless cycle in which the material can move in different states of aggregation under the influence of temperature.
The classical form of the object at a glance resembles a standard element of the interior, which in the context of the place departures from traditional presentation of works of art on pedestals and in showcases. This prompts the viewer to greater alertness, search and when is finally identified – surprises with it’s detail, the material used, finesse play of light and shadow.
