Kluka
glass, hay / 2010
Open glass form is an invisible border of the bowl filled with hay.
It is a modern equivalent of Old Polish tradition consisting in putting hay or straw under tablecloth on Christmas Eve day. Kluka can be modified with any material, e.g. paper scraps or expendable bags.
This object may have different faces, depending on owner’s imagination and creativity; it can be adjusted to occasion, event or interior design. Decorative epergne can also be used as a container. Every Kluka is produced by the technique of manual glass blowing without using moulds. Kluka has no features of serial product.
